By-Laws of Wawota Drop In Centre Inc. 1986
Purpose: To encourage retired persons to participate in community life.
The Centre provides a place for any person fifty or over to become a member upon request for Membership.
The Centre is to provide a place for social and cultural entertainment and for holding meetings.
It aids in building friendships and encourages mutual aid among retired persons and others in the community.
Once a month there is a regular meeting held the first Saturday except for July and August.

Every 3rd Thursday the Centre holds a Pot Luck Supper @ 5:30 p.m. and anyone who attends the Potluck is welcome to stay and play Spades @ 7:00. Nov. 21
Friday Oct. 18th was Crafter's Time.
This is a new activity for our Centre to try, open to all crafters to get together for a day of creating. We encourage you to bring your knitting, crocheting, painting, scrapbooking, sewing, card making, colouring, or any craft, just come and spend the day together relaxing, and creating.
Pack yourself a bagged lunch, or order in, or take a break and go out for lunch. Bring munchies to share for the snack table. Cost $5.00.
Coffee/Tea supplied. We are hoping to make this a monthly activity. Contact Val @ 577-8340.
New activities are being discussed and will be added as they are organized.
Note: The Potluck Supper for Nov. 21st was cancelled at the Nov. 2nd meeting.
Please ADD to your calendar Nov. 22 at 2:00 p.m. The Drop In will host a screening of the film Prairie Women, about the farm women's movement responded to the challenges faced by rural life. This is open to everyone interested. Cost $2.00, coffee and tea will be provided.
