* Seasonal Maintenance Worker *

Experience Preferred. Valid Driver’s License Necessary. Duties to include but not limited to: Mowing, picking stones, sign installation, operating chain saw, and other duties as determined by Council. Experience of running equipment would be an asset. (ie. Grader, Backhoe, Tractor, Skid Steer). Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Work to commence May 1, 2024, and end October 31, 2024, or as the weather permits.

* Emergency Medical Responder

The R.M. of Wawken No. 93 is actively recruiting an Emergency Medical Responder for the Wawota Ambulance Service.
The R.M. of Wawken No. 93 will assist with the payment of course related fees incurred by the applicant to become certified as an Emergency Medical Responder.

Remuneration is received of$5/hour for every hour on standby and $21/hour is paid for actual time responding to a call for at least a minimum of 3 hours.

* Volunteer Fire Fighters

W.W.W. Fire Protection District is actively recruiting volunteer fire fighters.
We currently respond to emergencies on a 24/7 basis and this response time is due to our active recruitment of volunteer fire fighters. Remuneration is set at $20/hr for all volunteer fire fighting, training and meetings.
